• Shortest game was Tundra > G2 x IG (15m27s)

• Longest game was Gaimin Gladiators > Tundra (69m5s)

• First Pick was the best Selection Priority option (67-56, 54.5%)

• Radiant was the next best Selection Priority option (64-59, 52.0%)

• Gaimin Gladiators played the most games (22, going 11-11 = 50%)

• Beastcoast played just 3 of their 12 games on Radiant (25%), whilst Cloud9 played 11 of their 14 (78.6%).

• G2 x iG made just 13.38 kills per game, less than half of Team Falcons’ 27.90 per game

• Team Liquid averaged the 2nd most kills (25.06), fewest deaths (16.94), most assists (69.56), highest GPM (2638), and highest XPM (3281) 

• BB Team’s wins averaged 36m26s long, whilst their losses averaged 42m56s – a shift of -07m29.

• G2 x iG’s wins averaged 43m18s, whilst their losses averaged 30m11s – a shift of +13m07s

Core-ing

• Malr1ne (8.48 kills per game), Yatoro (8.15 kills per game), MiCKe (7.89 kills per game)

• Malr1ne averaged 2.2 kills per 10 minutes of gameplay.

• Nightfall (Weaver) and skiter (Luna) both had 20 kills each in a game

• Highest average GPM: K1 (775), MiCKe (734), Nightfall (729)

• Pure’s Luna against Falcons had the last hit record of the event, with 923

• DyrachYO with the highest GPM in a single game (952 on Alchemist), Yatoro with 938 (on Dragon Knight). 

• Quinn with 111 992 hero damage on Queen of Pain

• Ame averaged 11117 tower damage per game (the most of any player).

• Pure’s Lone Druid did 31827 tower damage against Xtreme Gaming, the 5th highest ever done by a single hero in a single LAN game.

• Xm with 16 denies per game on average. 

• K1 Hector’s 14407 net worth @ 20 minutes on Dragon Knight is the highest DK NW at this time on LAN ever (and 2nd highest ever in a pro match).

• Against Xtreme Gaming, K1 Hector became only the 14th player ever to lose a bo3/bo5 without a game win whilst averaging less than 1 death per game. 

• K1 Hector averaged 3880 max health at the end of his games, the highest of any player (ATF was 2nd with 3477, then Pure with 3381).

Supporting

• INSaNiA (16.61 assists per game), Sneyking (16.52 assists per game), and Cr1t (15.90 assists per game).

• INSaNiA averaged 4.4 assists per 10 minutes, Sneyking next with 4.3, and Cr1t 3rd with 4.1.

• INSaNiA also had the highest assists in a single game (32 on Treant Protector against Gaimin Gladiators)

• Elmisho with 8.25 deaths per game, the highest of the event – also 16 in a single game (as Batrider), the highest single number in a game.

• Ponyo placed, on average, 6.45 obs wards by the 20 minute mark, followed by Whitemon (5.63) and Dy (5.60). On a team level it’s Xtreme (10.53), HEROIC (10.50), and BB Team (10.44)

• With camps stacked by 20 mins, the following players were at the top: Kataomi (5.57), Ponlo (5.46), Mira (5.23). On a team level it’s Aurora (15.31), Liquid (15.06), and BB Team (13.50). 

• Nouns (2.69), Gaimin Gladiators (2.59), and Team Zero (2.54) averaged the most early (by 15mins) smokes used. Cloud9 (1.71) and Xtreme Gaming (1.75) averaged the fewest.

Heroes and Players

• 104 heroes were picked or banned at least once in the event.

• Naga Siren picked or banned in 119 of 123 games (96.8%). 106 of those were 1st Phase Bans, and 10 were 1st phase picks.

• Mirana picked in the most games - 46; Windranger in 44, and Tusk in 43

• Doom was the most 1st Phase picked hero, 21 of his 32 picks in this phase alone.

• Puck was the most 3rd Phase picked hero, 25 of their 26 picks; as well as the most banned 3rd Phase hero (57 bans).

• INSaNiA vs Ace rivalry now up to 122 games (Ace still ahead 63-59, 51.6%)

• INSaNiA + MiCKe + Boxi up to 1355 games played together (most experienced trio of all time); INSaNiA + MiCKe are at 1449 games together, the 5th most experienced duo of all time.

• Quinn and TORONTOTOKYO played the most unique heroes at the event with 14 (although Quinn played 22 games and TORONTOTOKYO played only 16).

• Gaimin Gladiators played 48 heroes at the event, whilst Talon and Team Spirit played just 32 unique heroes. They (Gaimin) also played Tinker for the first time (losing to Xtreme with it), and now have played every single hero in a competitive match (except Ringmaster) - just the 18th team to accomplish this.

• Monet, Boxi, DM, and Beyond played just 5 unique heroes each at the event.

• RAMZES played Mars 9 times, the most common hero-player pair. He went 7-2 (77.8%) with it.

• Nisha’s Puck went 6-0, the best undefeated streak. At 5-0 was Topson’s Invoker, Sneyking’s Tusk, Whitemon’s Enchantress, ATF’s Kunka, and Saksa’s Mirana.

• Of the heroes picked 10+ times, Visage (11-3, 78.6%) and Naga Siren (9-3, 75.0%) performed best. With 20+ picks it’s Mars (19-11, 63.3%), Luna (17-10, 63.0%), and Tusk (27-16, 62.8%) who excelled.

• Of the heroes picked 10+ times, Primal Beast (4-8, 33.3%) and Timbersaw (7-13,. 35.0%) performed worst. With 20+ picks it’s Doom (13-19, 40.6%) and Batrider ( 14-20, 41.2%) at the bottom.

  

  Boxi only played 5 heroes all event - but that’s all he needed to win an Aegis

Items & Objectives

• Malr1ne, Dy, and 33 each took First Blood in 5 games (the most), and Malr1ne only gave up first blood once (to GPK, against BB Team) – note that First Blood as a state is broken in 2 games with remakes, still need to look into that!

• Fishman and Ponlo each gave up First Blood 5 times (the most), just ahead of Whitemon and Mira (4 times each).

• Gaimin Gladiators took the first tower in 15 of their 22 games (68.2%), whilst nouns did so in just 3 of their 13 (23.1%). Team Liquid took the first tower in just 5 of their 18 games (27.8%).

• Gaimin also took the fastest first tower (9m23s); the 3rd fastest second tower (13m59s); and the 3rd fastest 3rd tower (18m56s)

• Team Liquid gave up their safelane tier 1 tower last on average, 23m35s

• Team Liquid killed the most Roshans per game (1.56), and beastcoast the fewest (0.25). The average Roshans @ 25 mins paints a similar story: Liquid with the most (0.81), and beastcoast with 0.17 (G2 x IG averaged 0.00 @ 25).

• Just two stolen Aegises in the event, Erika (against BB Team) and 23Savage (against Cloud9)

• 315 couriers died at The International, Boxi killed more than anyone else, with 13 (KJ and Mira with 12 each, XinQ with 11, ATF with 10). 

• Players playing Tusk killed the most couriers (25), followed by Mirana (18).

• Revenant’s Brooch was purchased 4 times, all on Windranger. MiCKe was the buyer in 3 of those games, all wins for Team Liquid.

General:

• The first International with zero Chinese teams in the top 4.

• Team Liquid are the first organisation to win The International twice with completely different rosters.
